What i learned

       This chapter I learned about many things involving my own life. Probably the most important thing we learned about was our roles and status. As people we all have many roles. Some of my roles include: student, athlete, son, friend, boyfriend, grandkid, worker, brother, and many other things. We all have many roles but we also have a master status. Your master status is your number one role you play. My master status has to be a "friend, or family member". I'm around my friends the most and they are very important that's why being a friend is probably my master status.

Tuesdays with Morrie

The movie Tuesdays with Morrie was an emotional roller coaster. There were times when I couldn't help smile, but there were times that made me feel terrible too. The movie shows what real love is and how someone who doesn't really know what love is can find it. If it wasn't for Morrie, Mitch would be hopeless. Morrie showed him how to care and how to get out of his comfort zone.

Mitch was afraid of death and I think a lot of people today are afraid of death too. If the conversation of death comes up some people avoid it and don't want to talk about it. But like Morrie said as soon as you can accept death everything will be okay.

Mitch had a girlfriend and he didn't know how to put other things aside to be a good lover. But Morrie taught him how to be a good lover and everything turned out right for Mitch and his lady friend.

Some people never fall in love because they are scared and they don't know where it will lead them. A lot of that has to do with how you are raised growing up.
